Yeah another book commentary!!!!

Posted in Book Comentary on February 6, 2010 by rantingkame

The books that I am commenting on today are….
1. The Vampire Diaries
2. The Secret Circle Series
3. Dark Visions
4. The Forbbiden Game
5. The Night World series

1. The Vampire Diaries… Fun, Sexy, and powerful. I am in love with Damon! I hope that Elena gets with him by the end of the series. And I am sick and tired of hearing “ooooooooooooohh Damon and Bonnie should be a couple. She needs a strong vampire man in her life.” You know what no she does not! She can have Matt or Stefan, but so help her God if ends up with Damon. Sorry got off track. I have a lot of anger on that subject. Anyways the book is set in an small very old town in Virginia where about anything can happen. And the main character starts off as an ice princess but ends up as an okay girl. And nooooo it is not one of those stories were the self centered girl really turns out to have a huge heart of gold. Like I said she ends up becoming an OKAY person. I give the series a 9.9 out of 10.
2. The Secret Circle. You might have heard about this one from my other blog “My Favorite Story Twists”. It’s about a shy girl who moves to New Salem with her mom to help out her aged grandmother. She finds out that her new school has a mysterious club that practical rules the school. No wait I can’t go into great detail the book is tooooo good for words. I give it an 11 out of 10. SO READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3. Dark Visions is about a girl with extrodinary pyshcic ablities. She goes to this school with other powerful pyshcics like her. All seems good and well until they find out that they are going to be sold off to scientists and other people who are willing to buy them. The run away , come back, kick some butt, and yes there is romance! So I give it a 8 out of 10.
4.The Forbidden Game is about the youngest shadow man falling in love with a very innocent five year old. Hold on it gets better. And if yiou turn off your computer I will hunt you down and……….. Sorry folks anger issues. Anyways the shadow dude makes the girl and her friends play a game. In the game they have to face their worst fears to win. A good book to read in a boring math class or anywhere else. I give it a 10 out of 10.
5. The Night World series makes me believe that magical creatures live among us. It is an amazing series thats full of family drama dating back to the beginning of time, narrow escapes from death, betrayal, evil masterminds, again yes there is plently of romance. READ IT READ IT READ IT READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I give the series a 9 out of 10.

And all these books were writen by the wonderful Lisa Smith.

See you necks time.
p.s. yes I know that joke is corny.

My Favorite Story Twists!

Posted in Book Comentary, Boredom, Guess What????????, Just Because, Random with tags on November 28, 2009 by rantingkame

My favorite story twists of all time are when the heroine’s villan is actually her father. Some examples of these kinds of twists are Cassie Blake and Black John in “The Secret Circle”, by L. J. Smith, and Clary Fray and Valentine in “The Mortal Instruments”, by Cassandra Clare. I don’t know what exactly draws me to these twists other than the fact that the heroines have grown up without these fathers their whole lives and now that they’ve found them they have to fight their dads. They are the total opposite of daddy girls, now that might also make an interesting story! It would be like Paris Hilton beating the crap out of her Pops.Ha!

My First Book Comment!!!!!

Posted in Book Comentary on October 18, 2009 by rantingkame

Okay I know that the title wasn’t that creative, but there it is. Today I am commenting on these books:
*The Mortal Instruments
*Twilight
*Beastly
*Dracula
*The Phantom of the Opera

First, The Mortal Instruments is a hard core series filled with action and twists.I feel that the author Cassandra Clare created a world that makes us question our own. The book itself makes you feel powerful and outstanding. I give it a 9 out of 10.
Next is Twilight. The first book lets us in on the relationship one might have with a vampire. Still I found no character from Edward, and it was hard to make out Bella’s personality, otherwise it was a great book altogether.I gave it a 6 out of 10. P.s. Vampires don’t sparkle!
I got Beastly from the library a few days ago and absolutly loved it. I devored the book from page to page. The author brings life to a modren day fairy tale that makes you believe that Santa’s not the only one who’s watching to see if your naughty or nice. I give it a 10 out of 10.
I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE DRACULA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel bad that he had to suffer eternal damnation, I mean his one true love killed herself because she thought that he was dead. Most men today have affairs,or abuse their wives/girlfriends, some even just up and leave their families for whatever selfish reason. Sorry I went off into another rant ( this might happen quite often). Anyway I give it an 8 out of 10.
Then I read The Phantom of the Opera. It is truely differnt from the play or the movie. In the book The Phantom is portraied as a killer that longs for everything he’s been denied. Halfway trough the book I started to cry. We cannot help how we are born. We cannnot help it if we didn’t get the fair skin or the photographic memory, but people still judge us on that. So I pity the brillent phantom. I give it 9 out of 10.

Till next time ,bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
